Nucor Steel Gallatin Expands Capacity with $650 Million Investment
Expansion to Create New Jobs, Boost Regional Economy
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 25, 2021)
Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) today announced a $650 million expansion of its Nucor Steel Gallatin facility in Gallatin County, Kentucky.
The expansion will increase the facility's annual capacity by approximately 1,800,000 tons, bringing its total annual capacity to 3,600,000 tons. The investment will also create approximately 200 new jobs at the facility.

The expansion is expected to be complete in 2023.
