Early Life and Career

Olivier Giroud was born on September 30, 1986, in Chambéry, France. He began his professional football career with hometown club Grenoble Foot 38 in 2005. Giroud spent several seasons with Grenoble, helping them achieve promotion to Ligue 2 in 2008.

International Career

Giroud made his debut for the French national team in 2011. He has since become a regular member of the squad, earning over 100 caps and scoring over 50 goals. Giroud played a key role in France's victory at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, scoring six goals throughout the tournament.
